• The material to make lotion pump:The material composition of the lotion pump is the key to determining the durability of the product. The most commonly used material you can find in the market is polypropylene (PP) plastic. And you can also find stainless steel type of lotion pump.
• Closure size:Determine the closure size of the lotion pump according to the outer diameter of the bottle (including the thread).Some of the common neck sizes you can find on the market are 24mm, 28mm, 33mm, 38mm.Closure's height represents thread count, usually comes with 400,410, or 415. 
• The pump dosage:Pump dosage affects the product’s cost of production, and expected time of usage until depletion. So need to choose suitable dosage pump for your products (like hand soap,sanitizer can choose 2cc type).
